8 Balla Hoop Insider took a trip up to Davidson NC to see the top 2A Private school team Davidson Day Patriot 10-0 host the 13-1 3A top team Concord First Assembly.

The game was sold out standing room only. The crowd on both sides were loud and hype for the game. Davidson Day would come out the gate red hot shooting the ball and would take a 11-0 lead early on Concord First Assembly behind App State Signee CJ Huntley quick seven points.
Huntley would go on to finish the game with 13pts 3 rebs 2 steals and 4 blocks.

His teamate Jackson Threadgill a UNC Charlotte Signee would finish the game with 26pts.

Concord first Assembly would weather the storm and do just that storm back to win the game. They were led by tough nose senior Trae Benham 19pts and Senior Point Guard Isaac Booth 14pts.

They would also get help from 6'9 2020 Garrett Hien a Furman signee who chipped in 8pts 5rebs.

Concord First Assembly won the game 54-46 to improve to 14-1 and give the patriots there first loss of the season and drop them to 10-1.

I feel that concord first assembly and davidson day both have a chance to bring home state titlles this year. Both have great inside and outside play. They both are well coached.
